Texas

Does anyone know where I can buy this Automatic Chicken Door in person around Fort Worth? I'm in a bit of a time crunch & can't seem to figure out how to find someone who carries it in store around here.
I ordered the Ador door. They ship fast. Made in Texas. Answered emails and texts quickly even on weekends. It has worked great so far.

+1 on the Ador. I had mine six years and it started to act wierd. I called them and they walked me through trouble shooting and got a new part out to me fast. Great customer service. Love my Ador door.

Just a quick update on how my chickeneering has been going here in the Colonias in Deep Deep South Texas. My next door neighbor now mistakenly believes I am going to find a legal basis for removing all of his animals. I did have the Deputies out last Monday(week ago), and had his little black malnourished chicken killing beast turned over to animal control. He just sent two of his dogs away with his son(in the trunk of his sedan a 90lb pit and 50-60lb german shep).

The sweet little black dog was simply a high energy, malnourished animal in need of either a fenceline or training or attention, but the neighbor was unwilling to provide any of this. Regardless, after a neighborhood meeting of the chicken owners who have all tried to reason with him and only gotten yelled at or told how poor he was when he is taking food off of everyone's table(and there are some very poor folk living out here). We decided action needed to be taken. I was offered poison and shotguns(as I had been feeding her to keep her from starvation) and was confident I had legal standing as this dog has taken one of mine and most like 2 more... via Vernon's Texas Health and Safety Code Chapters 826(defines when a dog is legally a coyote), additionally I informed the Deputy that he has 4 Class C misdemeanors on his property with the 3 other dogs not displaying current rabies vaccinations on their collars as required by Texas law in chapter 823.

This I am too poor to afford a fence for a guy who has been building additions on to his house excuse since spring, has a stable county job with full benifits and taking food from the poor all while running to church for 5 hours every Sunday and apparently hospitalizing his elder son and wife in August(and just being the nastiest christian ever) just had me blow the heck up. So it is now my mission in life to take his money. Did I forget to mention I had unrelated business with the County Tax Assessor/Collector? That man took notes and printed out my neighbors floor plan.

I really do not understand why "jerks" work hard to make it on to my radar.

I'm in Southlake. Does anyone near me have roosters? I am thinking of getting a rooster to watch over my backyard flock. I have 3 hens right now and would like to add 5 more hens and a rooster. Of course, there is the problem of him crowing early in the morning and I'm not in the country with lots of space. I'm not in a HOA but I'm surrounded by communities that are all part of HOAs, so I don't want any potential problems with the neighbors. Does anyone have any experience with the collars that suppress the crow noise. I want to find out how much it lowers the crowing sound. Thanks for the help.

I am in San Antonio. Anyone here in need of a very sweet, healthy male Pekin who loves to eat out of hand and get lots of attention. If so, please contact me. He seems to love my muscovy females a little too much for their health.

Whenever you are ready, let me know... Always come across those who need to rehome beautiful Roos due to city limits!

I found a home for our duck. Craigslist to the rescue. Farmer from south of San Antonio picked up Maggie and reassured us that his farm has plenty of space for Maggie and MANY friends for Maggie to choose from.
Congrats.
