So the first red tailed hawk of the season was just spotted. Thank you north Texans, it buzzed the wifes Silkie coop. Fortunately the fencing defeated it, but ours is only 4ft or 6Ft high depending on the side. I just hope it does not find the right angle of attack, and the silly Silkies continue to hug the fence line. I want this one to continue to migrate southward and over the borderwall as not a single rooster gave an alarm.
I really have to shave our silkie heads again soon for sure the roosters first if they couldn't spot a red tailed hawk preying on them. 2 Silkie heads down(1 roo 1 hen), 14 to go, yes it helps with a partner but she is asleep. Regardless, the equipment is set up for operation "Shave Fluffbutt".
