That is so helpful, I'm also going to contact the Saho to double check on some of my other animals (pigeons ducks etc) hopefully it won't be too costly and I can take everyone with us! but I've already got a list of a few birds I may sell off to minimize. Hopefully it all works out

Have you already found a house here?
Are you aware that most of Houston subdivisions are in HOAs?

@Kiki we have not yet found a house but yes we are aware we have 6 dogs too so we plan to be living in an unrestricted area either way which is why we want to bring the birds

You two have have it so right about recovering strength & stamina is so much slower after surgery! I'm still with a bit of a limp from knee surgery that couldn't be repaired - only "cleaned up."

Really sorry to hear about that knee, I had one knee replaced in mid August and second and last in mid October and still can’t stay on them working more than several hours without going to extreme swelling and pain. Bad Knees, is not a good club to join!

@Kiki (& anyone else who might have an answer) I seem to recall that you did a thread on nutrition in different types/brands of feed. Did you evaluate Kalmbach Flock Maintainer feed?
I noticed Chewy has it and since we have dog food delivered I'm considering trying this.
