Fake meat. Vegie patty something or other. One of the fast food chains got in trouble for cooking(? heating up???) the vegie burger on the same grill that was saturated with cow juice. Everyone said it tasted just like the real thing. It kinda was.

For breakfast I fried a sweet tater in bacon fat after cooking the bacon. Very nice. Eggs, bacon and sweet taters made me full.

Life is good!

Yeah Burger King has the Impossible Whopper. It was my first job in life and grosses me out that my wife eats those thinking they are vegan. I know they go on the same grill as the burgers. I never graduated to become a fry guy there. I just remember being so stoned making food. Oh well I was 16 back then. I could so eat a mustard whopper right now.

I still have to say I love this Mal he has been climbing up me for the last 30 minutes. He is super affectionate. Still do not get a Mal. When I go to the store he destroys stuff in the house. Heck I am home now and he was trying to eat mama's socks. Ok we just played tug he should be ok now. This brat of a dog needs to work off his energy. Like I always say do not get a Mallinois unless you like playing frisbee all day and tug.

Grumbling about taking clean clothes out of a washer and hanging them on a line.....I could be
Hauling water
Build fire
Heating water over a fire
Scrubbing clothes on washboard
Hauling water
Heating water
Rinsing clothes
Hanging on a bush or fence to dry.

Gorgeous morning.
39 dead calm, no crickets, frogs, or nite sounds.
No coyotes, occasional hoot owl calls.
I "think" 2 different kinds off owls. 1 does a deep low single hooooooo, the other a hoo,hoo, hooo, hoodoo.
We used to have a gho that perched on the gate cross member. Everyday, for almost 20 years. A big old, solid gray bird. Haven't seen him in awhile til today, he was sitting in his regular spot too far from house to get a good picture. Beautiful animal.
Life is good.

So I am a little bit annoyed this morning I wanted a slice of pecan pie out of the fridge. My wife stripped all of the pecans off. I should just go get a breakfast taco.

Same temp, light breeze, no sounds other than my birds.

The two different calls are from the same bird or same species (GHO). I had one when I was a kid....raised it from a chick. Sometimes he/she? would make a very low single hoooo and other times, you would think a howler monkey was making the noise.
