Going and blowing.
Ummmm, I guess mother nature is being literal. My idea of yard furniture is group of table and chairs on back porch.
Mother nature's idea of yard furniture is
A chair tossed here
Chair there
Table off over here
ALL OVER THE YARD.
Don't mess with her either. I tried arguing with her (put chairs back on porch etc....)
She tossed them further into yard.

Regarding my tire saga, it only would have cost me 30 dollars to replace it down here but I gave the owner of the shop 40 because he has been so good to us in the past. That part of the story is over now I just need the jack and an impact wrench bit for it and we are set. It is nice being El Gringo here in the valley people remember me for some reason maybe because I am the 2% non latinx in my county. Not to mention I am kind in heart towards others unless they block an entire lane of the grocery store then I get a bit/totally acerbic. Letting your children run wild in a store is not ok.

A little back story. When partner built this house in 1982, he was 47. He built exterior doors 36 in and interior doors 32 in. No step up or down. Wheelchair accessible.
A few minutes ago, I got a text , 4 a.m.
"HELP! IM STUCK"
I panicked
Big time which kids in trouble at 4 in the morning.
2nd text
"HELP! IN STUCK ON A CLIFF IN A CAVE"

Ok which kid is drunk and in trouble @ 4 a.m.
Look at sender of text
Its my roomba. Now I had to go find it.
No 2nd story, no step up or down.
Whats a cliff-no idea. So I looked at "cave"
Dark place. Looked under couches, beds.
Found it! Under spare bed. We have dining room table leaf under that bed. Roomba had managed to get 2 wheels hung up on leaf and 2 on carpet and couldn't get loose.
I'm awake now

I was going to bookmark it for after the new year..... Now I'm scratching my head for a pre-NYE order.....

Good lord the wind is blowing now. Easily 20mph wind gusts out there my weather station only shows 14.5 mph gusts.

Been blowing here since 8 last nite. Picked yard furniture up 2 times last nite, and gave up. Its scattered across yard again those chairs are not light weight stuff.
Blew 2 potted rosebushes over, I set them up and weighted them down with rocks (chunks petrified wood). Its just started to die down, about 15 mph now.

Started about midnight here, ....the 'big blow'. 34°F here @ 6:56am, wind is 25 to 30 with gust to 40mph. I don't like cold and hate wind....I'm getting a double whammy! fortunately, I have every thing nailed down! Otherwise, it would be in the next county.

37 now been fighting winds all night. I dont even wanna go turn chickens out, feed .....you know the good stuff we do to keep our flocks happy.
Glad I stay at home and don't have to go to work. This weather makes me appreciate everyone who works outside daily.
