I guess this drought plus that freeze have their upsides. I think I mowed last July or Aug. Chicken pickens are probably getting slow now out in the yard.

I've mowed 2 times now. Freeze I believe helped, some stuff slow returning, seems skeeter are down, flies just now getting annoying.
Life is good!

Wholly molly, I think the drought is over...just got 3.25" , haven't seen rain like this since Harvey.

Dang, I have to mow weekly or it gets grown over- I can’t find a couple of stepping stones- weeds covering them up.

Hi everyone! Getting back to the country and can't wait to have chickies again! I am so excited. Moving from Denton to Gainesville. Hubby and I just bought 4 acres and will be working on building or buying a coop for our new girls. Anyone in the Gainesville/Callisburg/Whitesboro, Texas area on here?
