Our lakehouse has - recently discovered fig trees next to a very tall cypress tree.

wondering aloud how easy they can be transplanted or split from main trunk….

they are likely all from the original owner who built this house 40+ years ago.
If there are sprigs coming up, you can cut them and treat them as any cutting to start it rooting, then transplant to where ever you want them.

Very easy to propagate from cuttings. Utube has a lot of ways. Pick one you like.

The front yard fig got a lot of sunlight and had minimal freeze damage. Lost a few tips.
The backyard fig was in the shade of the house and got hit a lot harder, but came back.

I've see fig trees sprout after being cut to the ground. Grew back into a beautiful round bush and gave lots of figs. Did the stumps sprout?

Sadly, no...and the orange didn't either, killed both all the way to the roots.

Hello. I have ended up with too many chickens and need to sell some. They are still young. only two of the pullets have started laying yet.

Pullets
3 Frisian Gull -> 2 yellow and one gold, the yellows are laying
3 Queen Sylvia -> 2 silver, 1 gold
2 Bielefelder
1 Smaaland

Cockerels
4 Basque Hen
4 Frisian Gull -> 2 yellow, 2 gold

I'm not sure how much to ask, but I would think maybe $15 for the pullets and $5 for the cockerels.

I'm in the Houston area, please send a message.

Thank you.
