I think I may have lucked out. Got 12 day olds July 15th. Supposedly seed pullets. NONE are looking/acting rooish-yet. How old til they crow? Mine are now 9 weeks and still chirping.
Crowing is an individual thing, they can crow as early as 4 weeks and as late as 20 weeks. Mine started at about 12-15 weeks I think? At this age you should be able to tell genders.

Very true! I should be able to tell gender. No noteworthy combs or wattles, no hackle feathers, no saddle feathers (I know it's early), no aggression, no cocky stances, no crow
SOOOOOOO
I don't know

You can post some pictures if you want.
Male specific feathering usually comes in around 12 weeks. At this age you would be looking for comb and wattle development.

Well.. in this case, 12 wks will be All Hallow’s Eve for the solo Hatchling & 10 wks for the Bobsie-twins.

I just put a calendar reminder for me to check gender then…. Will update accordingly…

My cat was attacked yesterday. She was very traumatized.
I needed some metal braces for coop roost. I want to be able to remove roost to clean (its too high to step over and too low to go under). Got braces (6 so extra for other roost) in plastic shopping bag next to coop door. Cat investigating strange bag. She must have bumped a brace, it rattled and she was gone in a flash. This is where it got funny, she had a plastic bag handle around her neck,so bag and attacking braces went with her across the yard. First lap around entire outside of house scattered all the braces out, still had the attacking plastic bag chasing her. It took 3 more laps around house before mean bag was shredded and she was safe. I was concerned she was gonna strangle and knew I couldn't catch her till she wore herself out or freed herself, so I walked yard picking up braces and laughing.

I have been outside almost all week, piddling around, fix and repair, upgrade etc..
So yesterday, I cleaned the house, cobwebs gone, ceiling fans and Vents cleaned, swept mopped, dishes done, put away, clothes washed dried folded put away. Dismantled stove to clean.
This morning, 4:30ish started on stove, got oven clean, racks soaking in trashbags, outside, knobs soaking, gonna clean top, rinse everything off, and finish shortly.
Next, bathe and dip dog, he's been scratching, Chewing more lately. Since I'll have hose handy from rinsing grates I might as well use it
