I still have one rooster remaining if anyone in the Spring,TX area would like to pick him up. Free of charge. We really do not want to have to put him down. Please anyone who has room. He’s a really good Rooster. We just unfortunately are now in an HOA that does not allow Roosters.Hello Everyone,
We purchased 4 Silky Chickens from Tractor Supply. 1 is 6 Months old Rooster, the other 3 are 3 months and Roosters (We believe). It was just our luck that all 4 were roosters. As we have no other chickens (hens) We have no use for them. No cost if anyone can come pick them up here in Lubbock, TX. Need all 4 gone by Aug 28th.View attachment 3235443
Plumbing is a blessing but a headache to maintain. Glad it was a simple fix.Such a simple upgrade to plumbing.
A union ball valve in one assembly.
Was slightly confused why the water pressure at kitchen sink spontaneously dropped to a low flow. After about 10-15 minutes went to inspect - outside in the very chilly air.
Water line had shattered, at a 90* point of main pipe & filled an area of ground to at least 75 gallons of water. I discovered shortly after it cracked (shattered) and started flooding.
Went out to wellhouse, turned off the ball valve for supply to all outside spigots & sprinkler system.
Problem temporarily solved in about 45 seconds. Checked everything else in the wornout wellhouse. All safe. Went inside and relaxed. Repair of that outside pipe will be done when I do the transition to the wellhouse 2.0 in the coming months.

We had a compression union in the septic line that kept slipping off. I finally got smart and put a real union in and solved so many issues. The PVC is flexible enough to solve a lot of issues.
