Gotta find the positive in a wash rinse repeat day. Tomorrow sunshine (what's that)? I'll get sunburned after being in a cave forever.

I've been busy keeping the wild birds fed. Stupid squirrel, thinks I'm putting out the feed for it....oh well, I guess they need love too! I've got close to 50 Cardnials coming in, around 2 dozen Inca doves, 1 wild male Bobwhite, around a dozen chickadees and a few Cedar Waxwings.

What are you feeding them? And how? Feeders/ground?
My Feeders are empty with water in them?

My Feeders are empty with water in them?

Wild bird seed from TSC. It's cheaper than all BOSS. I'm putting some out on the ground, some on a board above the ground, and some on top of an abandon pen...or I should say, "an unused pen".
When it's icy, it's like a magnitude difference in them finding something to eat and survive, so it helps them, I don't just quit giving it after the bad weather is gone, I'll quit when we get into full blown spring. I've been putting it out since November.
Had a huge flock of Orchard orioles came by today, they didn't eat any feed but picked the berries off the Hackberry trees.

I should have never said anything, power went out at 4pm yesterday, smdh. More limbs down, but at least the sun will be shining tomorrow, I know what we'll be doing this weekend

Growing up I had more than my share of "builds character" episodes. Thanks for the offer, though!

PS: we didn't get beer or burgers but I'd be a millionaire if I had all those nickles I was promised.
