Texas

Been busy planting. I have 4 raised bed/container areas. Each box is 3x3 and 30 inches high. Filled with chicken run mulch.
Onions in 1
Green beans in 1
1/2 lavender 1/2 bell pepper in 1
Jalapeno and zinnia in 1
We'll see how it goes 😏 🙄
I did the same thing yesterday, herbs and greens in one, some herbs and marigolds in the other 2 with room left for corn, green beans, purple hull peas, quinoa, tomatoes and peppers. I'll get some pics later, gotta go plant the new Texas sage in the chicken yard

Completed...

Wow, those 'really' are "raised beds". Did you build them or buy them?
We built them, I looked all over the internet until I found the idea I was looking for. The pressure treated wood was pretty inexpensive as it is just a frame and we scoredat our local Woodson's cuz they had a bunch of cull wood ($80 for the bundle), the 2 galvanized beds I found on a deal on Amazon ($100 for the 8x4 set), the bottom is HWC and landscape fabric for excellent drainage.

Cool....I was thinking of building some raised beds....I don't want to build a high fence around my old garden....the deer here, eat everything to the ground...so I thought I'd try raise beds! Thanks for the idea.
I used those crates I was given. Filled with compost. Well see how it does.

Those are awesome!
