Our local weatherman, has a Facebook page 🙄.
This is his latest "play" on this weekend weather. I thought it was very accurate.....🙂

You know what momma (and the great poet Aaliyah) always said:
"If at first you don't succeed, (dust yourself off and) try again!"

•Cold front edges SO CLOSE to the Brazos Valley Thursday morning.
• South wind says "nah, get!" and pushes it back to the north Thursday afternoon
• Cold front makes it INTO the Brazos Valley Friday. Few showers/storms kick off and highs are comfy in the mid/upper 60s
• South wind says "nah, get!" and kicks highs back to the 80s Saturday afternoon
• Cold front gets a running start and shoves back in Sunday.
• Mild, seasonable air (morning 40s/50s...highs mid/upper 60s) are back to start the Spring Break week.

Why do you have the vents in the coop covered?
Our coop is quite large and we have 2 large vents with two metal covers that have to be screwed which takes several hours so we take them off in spring and put them on in late fall.

perhaps a suggestion of hinges? like the way I did on the upper vents and lower clean-out flaps. you can see that in my coop thread link on the profile space....

Well, summers here, 89°F today...had to turn the AC on for the first time this year!
85 and windows open. Ceiling fans going. I was thinking of packing away the flannel sheets-i got hot last night. Pecan tree hasn't budded out, so it's gonna chill again.
Now I see it's gonna cool off tomorrow, and next weekend-down right chilly-38⁰ sat night, Screenshot_20230311_194814_KBTX Weather.jpg soooo I'll wait a while longer
