Texas

Ok, here's my best idea. We need everyone in the DFW area to get a car wash. If you still have a line, hang some laundry out to dry. And if you park outside leave your windows open about an inch. Hopefully that will be enough to get us a good rain.
I drove the convertible around all last week with the top down and got enough rain to leave drop prints in the dust. You can do it!

However, it is hurricane season and for Dallas to get a good rain, that means Houston floods. So don't over do it. Our yards are brown so the runoff will be quick.

I have a water well. I have used the pressure washer several time over the last several weeks. Each time the stuff evaporated before reaching out hilltop… once it dropped a soft sprinkling that created “dust collective drops” all over the windows on the vehicles…(grumbles) had to get a towel and wet and wipe them clean to see out of…

For those of y'all along the coast, the migrating ruby throated hummingbirds have started showing up here, time to get those extra feeders up! LoL, squabbly contankerous little buggers! Our resident buff bellied is not amused at having to share again 😏
Picture is from couple years ago but pretty much what I'm seeing this morning 🥰
