Happy Birthday @Auntiejessi3 !

It thunderstormed here at about 2 am. Didn't get much rain, just enough for the ducks to get excited!šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚
We thundered and lightened for 3 hours. Big storm. Will be interesting to see how much we got. I'll guess half and inch since the streets didn't flood.

The dogs got scared.

We have been getting pop-up thunderstorms all around for days and nights but no rain where I am. Could see lighting flashes from the storm down around Houston and the coast, around 4 o'clock this morning and to the southwest around Eagle Pass.

It rained so much yesterday it filled to the brim an xlarge hard plastic kiddy pool.
Y'all got 6 or 7 inches of rain down there!
Ready for more today?

We have already gotten over 8+ inches of rain. It's coming down hard again today.

Why do chickens insist on being outside in the rain? Had to chase them down in the pouring rain. I got them back in the run. They have a coop, a covered run and an under the coop place. All three areas are completely dry. But no, they want to be frolicking around in the rain. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø Wet chickens kinda look creepy imošŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø.

Edited to correct typo

Nature.
Rain isn't bad. Playing in the rain can be fun for a change and after the long dry spell, I want to play in the rain also. It might be better bug hunting. Or worms coming up for air.
Let the chickens be free!
