A year ago, I couldn't even imagine having chickens. This week, they just laid their 100th dozen. Never would have imagined it.

BTW, if you have one, I highly recommend getting a video of a spouse/SO trying to get a fugitive chicken back into their coop or run. Don't share it publicly, but save that blackmail video for another day.

P.S. only took sub-freezing weather for those chickens to go to bed on their own tonight. I might as well have an auto open door that doesn't auto-close.

Nothing like a human thinking they can outrun a chicken....

The chicken bird seed was put in an empty quail coop. I found squirrels this morning had chewed a hole in the bottom of the bag through the 1/2" hardware cloth to dribble the seeds out. The seeds are back in the squirrel proof metal trash can and feed holder.

And this was after not seeing squirrels for a month. They are back and eating good.
