I'll be at Shawnee. I'm showing 13 Buff Bantam Brahmas, my son is showing 4 lights in the Junior show. It looks like its going to be a GREAT show. They reached the 4500 bird limit. We live in Saint Jo in Montague county, its only about 2 1/2 hours for us. I am looking to buy a trio or couple of pairs of Dark Cornish bantams for my nephew at Shawnee. There should be hundreds of sale birds there. We drove up Saturday morning last year. I was worn out by Saturday night. This year we will drive up Friday, I booked a hotel for Fri, and Sat night. Days Inn is only about 60 bucks a night. I heard thats where the Judges are staying as well. Hope to see some of ya'll there. See you in the Brahma isle!

It's a cold one down here close to the coast-30 is pretty cold for us!
Busy, busy today getting ready to go to Shawnee in the morning. Hoping to come home with some new Call ducks and some Seramas(and who knows what else).

I swear-sometimes people can be so frustrating...rental car place called and told me they didn't have my car, but I could have an upgrade. Rented an economy car for a reason people...have you ever heard of gas mileage????? NICE-I made this reservation weeks ago.

Trying to pack and the dog is unpacking as fast as I can put it in the suitcase-he's running around with DHs socks and underwear growling and scattering them all over the house. Doxies are maniacs, what can I say?
Oh well, I'll make the best of a weekend getaway and hope that when I get to the hotel, I still have some clothes in my suitcase and poor DH won't have to go commando-too cold for that!
