I'm in the Hill Country on a small ranch wanting to get some chickens going. I miss those loving critters and yummy eggs!

Hi there! We're in Bryan (Texas A&M) but I'm originally from Austin so we're back and forth quite a bit. My husband gave into chickens "for the kids to experience" and now the chicken math has taken over, my granddad would be proud! I've got 15 teenagers that are about to need a bigger grow out coop and 4 baby ducks coming next month. I'm addicted, and the husband and kiddos really love them all too, plus the eggs are sooo yummy. I could sit outside and watch the babies and big gals forever (well, at least until the mosquitoes come out, but hey, maybe the ducks will help with that!).

Can't think of a better family 'hobby'........plus they entertain you, eat your bugs, are mobile fertilizers AND they feed you. Aren't backyard eggs THE BEST!!!
