I am terrible at navigating this site, but there is a breeder page by State and what they sell. It is probably a sticky under the breeds section.

I would love a month of 70 degree weather. My poor hubby is clearing our land all by himself. He does not trust my office dweller health

to working in this heat. I cannot wait to start getting out there. I am so excited by the thought of working outside! This time next year will see me in so much better shape!

I did get out last night to help him put up deer feeders and game cameras.

We are just about to get the winter garden planned. The summer garden yielded nothing but Okra (not complaining). We normally can harvest enough to last through the winter but not this year. I am about 40% done with the 3,000 sq ft cage for my garden. I can not wait to be finished. Those squirrels stole all my tomatoes, melons and anything that was not nailed down.

i laid all my tomato plants over and theyget covered with dirt to start on fall, the termites have givin me a fit ,they burrow in purple hule stalks and tomatoes that touched ground i have never seen anything like that. The only thing that saved my garden is that i am on the water front and have a pump to water with.

Hey everyone! I am in Tomball/Magnolia area just north of Houston... I have a couple of cockerels that I want to part with, but I just can't seem to kill/eat them! So, free to good home if anyone is interested. Please pm me. Local only because I don't want to ship them in the 107 degree heat!

Buff Orpington - MPC egg I hatched on 5/20. Beautiful bird! A bit aggressive toward me, but ok with anybody else. I feed them medicated chick starter & they free range for a few hours every morning. Snacks given...oats, millet, cabbage & grass (their favorites), but chick feed is their main food. Healthy & happy. Does well in the coop and the enclosed run. He loves to stand in the water to cool off. He's currently with 3 hens. I set frozen water bottles out with them in the afternoon and they snuggle up to keep cool. Sand in the run so grit always available.

Lavendar Orpington - BYC auction 'rockinpaints' egg I hatched on 7/2. He has a very sweet disposition and absolutely gorgeous color! I have him with my Ameracuana hen & they get along well. Medicated chick started only. He is in the big coop & separate run during the day & I bring them in when the outside temp hits 100. They are crated at night. I've just begun trying to integrate them with the big birds & he's been out to free range a just a few times.
