I think everyone is praying this storm hits the Texas coast, especially the people in Louisiana.

Personally, since I am practically on the line of the Louisiana coast, all I want to see is rain. I have lost houses in Rita and Ike.

I dunno... that 24inches is looking very nice right now.. the creek near us is BONE dry... not a drop of water anywhere... my peach tree is looking bad..
can't we have the 24 inches spread out over several weeks?...

As dry as Texas is right now, I'd think if it hit our coast all you'll hear would be the sucking sound that the ground makes as it soaks up the water.

Don't correct me, this is a joke. Yes, I know it really wouldn't soak in that fast.
