I know this is a couple months behind, not sure what you decided (or when you have to decide) but as a current 4-H leader (going into my 8th year) and 4-H alumni, I highly encourage you to join despite the meetings and presentations.Anyone want to help me decide if I should be in 4h this year? I would do a heifer. I just didn’t like the people part, like going to meetings, speeches, and I’m worried I’ll mess up at the show.
No way I thought they had shows every day in TexasSometime this autumn.
Rabbits are sterile atm so nobody would sell kits except for those with a climate controlled barn. Plus in these extra hot months the rabbits look and feel like crap.
I only get about 4-5 litters out of a rabbit every year, when most people shoot for 7-8 so I have more of an ability to show, but here I am with no shows to go to![]()
I don't think he has enough lacing on his chest and too tall long legs for a sebright but I would enter him anyway for fun he looks like a modern game hahah

Good luck!Fair starts tomorrow! My heifers went to fair and got checked in the afternoon. I think our group (my 4H club plus a local FFA group combined) has 19 or so animals. I'm really excited for tomorrow!! It's my first year showing. In the picture, the Jersey on the end is mine and one of the dark crossbreds in the middle is mine as well.
