Texting question - Motorola RAZR

Okay, I'm about to show my age and technology ignorance...

My DSD has recently got me into texting. She's way faster than me.
When I am typing a word and on the screen it tries to complete the word for me, what button do I push to accept that suggestion?

Example: If I'm typing 'wh " and it suggests 'what' and that's the word I want, how do I accept it?

Your scroll buttons, (the round thing that has arrows pointing up and down, left and right), push the right one.

It's been a while since I've had a Razr, but I believe that'll do it.

I'm so old and the buttons so small I text with my nose touching the screen so I can see the itty bitty letters.

Buy an Iphone or Blackberry if ya wanna text! Texting on
regular phones take a teenage mind. We are too old.
