I am new to chickens. I have my first flock they are 5 weeks old.

I have 6

Rhode Island Red
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I put the lawn chair out by their run (sometimes in it) and I can just sit and watch them all day. They are so funny.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to paint, crochet, garden, cook, make wine, play video games
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married for 21 years. I have 2 boys with my oldest 28 and my youngest 17. We have two male Boston Terriers. I used to be a lab tech for a food manufacturing company.

I found this community by googling questions I had about my chicks and I found the answers here. I decided to join since I was stopping by the site so much anyway and everyone seemed friendly.
