I think it is very weird that someone would ask you NOT to cook with them. Even more, I think it is quite rude....I just don't see the big deal.

Yes, use the eggs. I have a friend
who said she would NEVER eat homegrown
eggs. I made a sausage strata for
a group breakfast, and she so bragged
about it!
Not that I have eggs myself yet!

After a request like that I'd definately use the duck eggs and I'd be tempted to let the ducks use their little webby feet to mix them in!!
