Here’s a picture of everything that I have. What can I do for her?

I have her in a crate in the basement. I put Neosporin on it.Have you done anything so far? I'm guessing she's separated right now? Your supplies look good. Hoping someone with wound care experience pops by.
Need to start antibiotics just yet.I have these antibiotics that were for my little dog. Can I use any of this![]()
Let me read from the beginning. I’ll be right back.@staceyj come quick!
Thank you.Omg. Poor thing.
That metacam might come in handy.
@casportpony knows the dosage off the top of her head and could tell us if she thinks it’s necessary tonight or not.
I’d hold off on the antibiotics though until you see infection. This can actually heal believe it ir not.
Antibiotics treat infection.
Antibiotics are not proven to “ward off” infection.
The only things I would add is that after she’s had some time to calm down I’d clear away all the feathers that could contaminate the site since you’ll be dealing with this for weeks.
clean that wound well with saline, diluted dishsoap and water, or something stronger such as betadine or hibiclens.
I prefer hibiclens, or betadine honestly.
That’s your very best bet to clear the woundbed NOW of so many germs.
Then I’d apply triple antibiotic ointment in any nook or cranny then spray it down thick with the vetericyn gel.
Fluids straight to the beak.
Encourage her to eat by tempting her with high protein foods.
Keep her warm and quiet tonight. Reapply vetericyn spray before you go to bed if needed.
Reevaluate in the morning.
