Oh its really pretty - and we've had some FUN and games for sure (being dragged behind the quad was SO much fun)
I also joined the kids sliding down hills and stuff...

that was SO much fun! Even getting snow up the leg of my pants wasn't so bad!

Its the having to go out in it at certain times to feed water and what nots - and getting ice out of water buckets.....

Then you have to shovel it off the pathways - otherwise it compresses and eventually becomes ICE.....

It has been windy here and my chickens don't like their feathers being all ruffled up. I told my husband it was so windy yesterday that one of the chickens laid the same egg twice.

We get bad flat line winds here. 2 times in the last two weeks we have 75mph + winds. I am getting a new roof in the next couple weeks because of it! Lost the pool cover and some gutters as well.

It is close to 70 here, but the wind is coming in 30-50 mph gusts. I have spent all morning putting my clothes BACK on the line. I just went out to retrieve clothes from my yard and they weren't mine. I put them on my line until I can track down who they belong too! Good thing is it isn't taking long for everything to dry! The longer I live without snow, the less I miss it.

Well whatever Wisconsin gets we eventually get here when it crosses Lake Michigan to us! Yesterday (sat) wasn't bad then early sat evening I got caught driving in a quick snowstorm, I was in the store and wasn't in there very long and came out it was like a blizzard! Today (sun) got about a additional 3 inches(?) and my car was iced over bad bigtime, doors frozen(I was lucky one door I got opened) scraped ice and ventured out in near white out conditions sometimes. It is terribly cold(below 0 degrees with wind chill factor! Global warming!? More like the second coming of the ice age here lol.
