I feel for you speckledhen...... I'm on my own countdown too. Somehow the dog visiting my coop manages to not get hit crossing the highway to get there.... but it's days are numbered if they keep letting it run at large like that.

I certainly hope they keep the dog on their own property; I honestly do not want to hurt or kill a dog, but I will defend my girls. They depend on me to keep them safe and that's what I will do to the best of my ability.
