No, some wild dogs. We never had dogs. Here’s a little story. After they attacked they attacked out chickens, they tried to re-enter our garden for about 3 days, which of course, we made sure they didn’t. So what did they do? Well, they went to the neighbors a street ahead of us. They also had a lot of chickens. They destroyed their chickens too. Exactly 1 week later, they attacked the neighbors yard AGAIN, and this time, the husband was home, and well, he shot them. And that was the end of those horrible dogs.
Maybe your neighbor is The Moonshiner! :lau

(inside joke, he is in Missouri)

I think the dogs were abandoned, but can't be totally sure. Some owners are pretty trash too.

Here is yet another story about abandoned dogs. A few months ago, in mid march, we had goats, 1 male, 1 female, both born February 9th. This german shepherd- Labrador mix kind of dog, decided that our house was a good target. (Keep in mind, this was in a new house, the previous dog attack was in the “old“ house). He pushed our metal fence thing, whatever it’s called, and turns out he only had to push it slightly to get in. Once he got in, our male goat (Buck) jumped on something (I don’t know what) to get away from the danger, but our female goat (Daisy) didn’t have time to, so she ran like crazy to get away (we got it on video). As she was running, the dog caught up, and got her throat I believe. She was making crazy noises. Luckly, my mom was in the kitchen cooking lunch, and as soon as she saw what happened she “shooed” Away the dog. He still tried to come back, but again, failed. Anyway, she got so scared she didn’t eat or drink much and stayed in her little house for 3 days before she came back out. She had around 2 punctures in her neck, but no blood come out, which was good. Thankfully, she survived, and all was Well. Just goes to show if some uncaring owner abandones their dog, someone else’s animal, or pet in this case, will have to suffer for it.

I have a question, here it is: So far we have gotten 2 eggs on the coop floor for some reason. A few minutes ago, when I went to take a picture of that white JG (which actually only had 1 black feather on it in a shape of a circle. Let me know if you still want to see that picture), we found an egg, on the floor in the middle of the run that we built for them. Why weren’t they in the nesting boxes? Dod they prefer the sandy dirt instead?

I would guess a new layer did that.

Goats are pretty dramatic :lau

Even if they just get castrated or some shots.

Exactly. A friend came over around in May, and he brought his labradoodle. And you guessed it. Daisy acting Crazy. She jumped around, hitting the metal fence, screaming, and basically being over dramatic.
