Used to live in Mapleton. It wasn't as big when I first moved there. It's grown!I'm right next to you in Mapleton. I've always considered it Northern Ut but I am a transplant from CA. So take that with a grain of salt.
Should be fine!Incubator has been holding temp at 100 for the last few days, added eggs yesterday and then last night a cold front moved in and this morning temp was 95. Im sure it will be fine but i hate seeing it drop like that.
Let me know what they say if you get through--my Ovation did the same thing yesterday!I sent through a message to their support email, but no response yet.
I've had bators scare the goody out of me like that before. Went to touch the eggs and they felt ok, not real hot. If you touched them, you would likely know. They would have felt way to warm. I've had some that actually did get quite warm in the beginning...left them..had them hatch. Check yours out in 5 days.Ok guys, this morning Ive check the incubator and the temp reading was 114*F, I was so puzzled and slightly panic since the incubator was only used 2x last spring. I’ve unplug it and plug it back but still the same. I had to meet someone for few hours so I decided to leave it unplug.
I came back at 2:30s pm and disassembled the Brinsea II Mini EX and found out the fan was not working since the little socket got loose. I Plug it back and it’s working perfect, humidity and temps are perfect. Now my concern is are these eggs ruined? Since it’s only been incubating for less than 24 hours? I’m not sure if the 114 reading was accurate since there was no fan circulation at that time. Could it be that the Level of the eggs temp was cooler? Should I chuck the eggs and start again?
I never turned at night. . First thing in the morning, 3 in the afternoon, then at 9 or 10 at night.I just spoke to them. I don't think they believed me at first, and asked if I knew how to use the menu. (I certainly hope I do...)
Anyway, after testing the motor (it works.... and you can press the OK and (-) sign at the same time to activate it), and doing a factory reset, mine still doesn't work on the timer.
Once they knew we had done the resets they were super kind, and are sending me a new incubator. I told them its not the end of the world to go in and hand turn, it just sucks at night, and, i have no options for next weekend, so I really need that new incubator by then. Fingers CROSSED!!!
I set 106 chicken eggs tonight!
