I know what you mean lol. I was thinking 3 weeks weren’t that big of a deal but when I pulled newly hatched chick out I was a bit shocked. They are so much bigger!

Might be a bit before we can put them together. Right now my 3 weekers are getting the idea of flying out of the brooder.

Haha, well, actually I mean that my new kiddos look huge next to my 3-weekers. My older chicks are Old English Game Bantams, so they're eensy to begin with. Pretty sure a couple of my EHAL babies came out of the egg weighing more than those little bantams do now. These are some chunky babies!

Started to finish to candle the ones that haven’t hatched. I pulled out six that quit after lockdown, and then BOOM a little bugger is moving around inside of the 7th. Back in you go! Watching and waiting is back on!

Yup! With the last pip and slow zip ... and a stuck chick just like yours, I thought we were done. But then this little one came out just a-peepin' for all it was worth ... and now we have two more VERY active pips! The excitement just keeps rollin' on!

Is there a time deadline? We're still mid-hatch with active pips and all were set on March 30th about 12:30 pm.

I have a Easter Morning Hatch will add a picture when he dries out some more and it's safe to open the incubator.

3 total out of the 6 set, 1 wasn't fertile and the others I am not sure of.

I had a total of two hatch. That is all that will be hatching the others are rotten. I broke them open.

Set 9 all 9 hatched!

So woke to 4 little hatched quail and 1 hatched bresse and one zipping bresse. So not a zero hatch at least.
