I generally give 48 hours after due and then candle or water test before shutting down incubator.

Here is the naked neck chick. Turns out the dad was a black silkie. The chick has feathered legs and 5 toes on each foot. I am not sure if it is the other way around but doesn't a black skinned cock bred to a light skin hen produce sex linked offspring?
If it does, then what gender is this thing? I would prefer a cockerel. It has a light skinned neck but then the rest is dark, even some of the face skin. Its legs are black too.

One of the older pups and the other mama had her pups about a week ago
