I have three incubators. The cheap foam LG still air is the only one I really trust.Indeed!! Although I am still not sure whether I want to go with a styrofoam one or not.

In my opinion you need at least 2 quail per person if you want to be full.

No I remember.
I used to think that way because I only thought of hatching chickens.
It is impossible for me to have roosters so I never wanted to hatch chickens because I didn't want to have to find potential roosters homes.
Does that make sense?
It's called a freezer, ampotential rooster home is the freezer.![]()
Yes...this.I think she was afraid they would start crowing before they got to butcher age/weight.
Yes...this.
I couldn't take the chance.

Let me know how you like it!! I really like the idea of the plastic (easier to clean) and clear plastic top all the way around (better hatching view) but it definitely holds a lot less eggs so that is my hesitation with that one. Hard to know. I really feel like the plastic would be worth it though. And it comes with a turner so I wouldn’t need to buy one like I would with the Genesis.
And good luck with your hatch!! I hope something hatches for you!!
Well so far it's been running a few hours and the temp readout seems to be almost dead on. I popped my brinsea spot check in to see how close they were and they were only reading .2 off from each other. If that keeps up I'll be EXTREMELY happy considering I was always having a hard time with the temps in my old bator.
