They probably under estimated how many chicks they were going to need this week due to Easter being so close Also I'm sure the large orders took priority over smaller ones. :/ Stinks but at least they'll send them next week. Maybe they'll include some nice extras for the hassle.

My easter eggs are in lockdown! Think one stopped developing but I hooope two hatch, or I will have a very noisy chick! Better order another feather duster, my wee button quail have made a mess of the old one

The lockdown days make me so anxious! I am not interfering this time though, nope! What will hatch will hatch.

That’s true!! Didn’t think about that!! That’s probably what it is. But yes, hopefully they send them extras!!

I set our eggs a bit early too and we got our first pip this morning! I’m hoping they take their time since I’m at work til 2.

Today I almost wish I was at the office. The incubator is only five feet away. I'm going to have terrible stats and get nothing accomplished. So happy I'm off tomorrow cuz I'll be up half the night.

Of 32 quail eggs set, 19 made it into lockdown. Considering these came from freshly matured birds, I'm pretty happy to see development in this many.

19 is good! I have 33 of 37 still going. 4 were clears
