Only 2 1/2 hours in and I already failed task #5 (complaining lol) :duc:oops:
I’ll do better when it’s actually daytime :)
This would have been easier on a day I was at home instead of a work day, but I'll do my best. :)
So far so good... but only a little bit into the day! Going to be quite the challenge, as I'm doing a LOT of projects (sprouting fodder, baking, cleaning the coop, giving the dogs their baths, etc, etc, etc)
Well, I didn't quite manage.

I tried to stay positive, but did gripe a little about customers buying the sandwiches as fast as I could make them and about having more work than I had time available to do (I was working a different position today, one that I enjoy, but the workload was especially heavy).
I see that everybody (me included) had quite a challenge today! I'm glad you all were up to it, nice job everyone! We all did our best and that's what counts!

Here's the history on where the idea for this challenge came from:
Several members of my family (including myself) are doing a thing where we all wear a wristband, and whenever we write or speak a complaint we switch it to the other arm. The goal is to get to 21 days without complaining (21 days makes a habit)!

Think of it this way, if a factory's product loses it's popularity, the factory will switch to a different product. We are doing the same thing. Because we are trying to make a habit of not complaining,

It's hard, and I don't think any of us have made it to day 2 yet. I'm inviting you all to join us!

Learn more about it here: https://www.willbowen.com/complaintfree/
(And we didn't buy the special bracelets, we just used what we already had around the house)

Does whining count as complaining? Like whining "At least let me finish my coffee first!"?
Whinning is the same thing. On that, depends how your saying it. If you're asking politely, it's asking. If you're whinning, it's complaining.
In my house, whining does count. So does some sarcasm. Like Lacy Duckwing said, it depends on how you say it. But you can interpret it however you want!

Now the day is about over...

There's a secret to stop complaining! That is, do the opposite! Whenever you feel yourself complaining, start thanking instead. Eggsample: Complain, "Aw. It's raining. Now my day is ruined." Instead, thank, "It's raining. Thank You, God, for the rain. Now people can have water in their dug wells." See? Thank instead? Just try it, and be amazed by the results. :p
