Today is day 13. This is a video of one of the silkie eggs that I candled. You can see the whole chick. It's pretty amazing. The last half of the video is a little more clear. You can see it kicking it's own head! It's head is on the bottom left, body curling up the right side, and the feet are on the top left. You can even see it's little beak!

LOL you can do it OZ, if you have a mess up we just void you is all! LOL
HERE IS A FUN FACT

Some of the things I find while I cruise the net instead of watching basketball on TV

The Little Bustard Tetrax tarda Is a declining bird in Europe and a very rare vagrant to the UK. The French name for this species translates as "Farting Chicken", which seems quite appropriate when you hear them calling.

Maybe I will get some T Shirts made for the “save the little bustard” movement....

I ALSO NEED A RECORDING OF ITS CALL...ANYBODY?

Sally, kinda new to posting, etc on BYC. In the rules above, what does it mean when you say "single" posting??

Because it's a random post contest some people could just sit there all day posting things like "Awesome", or "Wow", or

. Individually posted, that person just got 3 more chances at winning. So, the text should be something remotely meaningful and relevant. Not just racking up # of posts.

I love the smell of new baby chicks too, and give them "butterfly" kisses, and rub their little chests, and make "shish" noises like you would a human baby to calm them down. Someone posted about the jazz radio station, hmmm I might try that! Now, if my dogs would stop their jealous whining at the brooder while I'm playing & baby talking with my feathered babies, that would help the chicks stay even more calm! LOL

THATS ONCE THERE DRY THOUGH!
