Woo-Hoo!! Another hatch-a-long!! I could hardly keep up with the NYDH, but it was fun knowing I was incubating along with so many other people (even though I had a terrible hatch, the camaraderie was nice)

i was actually thinking about maybe not hatching for this and buying super cheap chicks after easter when everybody ditches them bc they arent cute anymore.. somebody talk me out of this!

We GOT Silkie PIPS X 2 out of 4 eggs so far!!! YAY!!

Harmony is very upset, the quail eggs we opened and everyone is infert.
The parents are very young from an end of oct hatch so I think this is why. she was sooooo looking forward to them little bumblebees

I sorta was as well.

So I went out to feed and water the chickens today and this is what I found....


My little EE hen, Runaway, decided there HAD to be more feed in the bin so she climbed in... Took forever to get her out but she's ok. Silly girl.

Glad she is ok. IS she a blue??

and from what i know those are good laying birds, i got two one year that were colorful and they are always cranking out them eggs.
