I have a question for the mods of this event. I looked up my name on the front page (in the list of participants) and saw that there is an asterisk next to my name on the "How many eggs set" column. Is this to show that I set my eggs outside of the days when participants were setting eggs that went toward the total count?

I'm not mad or anything, I was just wondering

Yes, we wanted to mark the people participating, but set outside the window for the "how many set contest". It just means no one will be trying to track you down to report your numbers since you already did.(I'm not a mod, just helping a little with recording the data).

Awesome oz thanks that's exactly what we needed!!
I personally am going for Pekins and Rouen. I want ducks that I can eat.

Pekins are a great white duck thats good eating, lay lots of egg but dont go broody.

Rouen are a very tasty, good mothers, have the look of a mallard or wild duck but wont fly away.

I will put Pekin eggs under Rouens. Both have good fertility.

There are prettier ducks out there but if I am going to feed it, it better feed me.

Awww! Wish our TSCs had LIVE chick days! They just throw up poultry supplies in a centre aisle. No live chicks for sale here! Wah!

I think its just an American thing. You lucky guys!

I second that!

It is fun to hatch our own tho, isn't it? LOL
