No egg from my duck this morning....maybe tomorrow.

On another note, I rethought my decision to get a pair of Pilgrim Goslings...I need a trio.

So I contacted the lady whose waiting list I'm on, and she said sure.

So, now I'm even more excited to get them!!

Also, I contacted someone with Call Duck eggs to try and get a few more to toss in with mine for this hatch, so lot's of fun stuff coming up!

It's nice to have something to look forward to!

I use a scale that costs less than 7 bucks on amazon

OK I am joining...This is an attempt to get broody fever running through my pens. I don't own a bator and I won't use the borrowed LG again...I was a wreck last time! Instead I have filled my coops with girls that are supposed to be inclined to broodiness. But what I have learned is that "inclined to broodiness" is sadly no guarantee. I figure if I act as though they will be broody in time for an Easter hatch the universe will send me several broodzillas so... here I am, subscribed and knitting chick booties and receiving blankets.

When I first started out with chickens, I would throw the eggs in my neighbors field. My explanation...I had too many. Lol. I didn't realize how many people would want them.

This is a seriously tough looking pair. I'd hate to run into them in a dark alley. lol

I think that might be my Mother when she was young.

This is the most current picture of me. Messy hair from the gym, but this is me, playing with a just born doeling. I have a milk share, as I can't have goats right now.

You don't look like you are interested in sharing that goat!

I have two sets of eggs in two different bators in lock down. I have a pip in each bator. Of course..I have a NN that has pipped at the wrong end! Man, I really don't like it when that happens.

Any updates?

Our hatch is complete, I really need a better candler for our dark eggs!
