Wow, thanks so much! am going to go look this up. I have mostly EE's right now, which I love, and a lot of green/blue eggs. I also just got some Cuckoo Marans so I know I will definitely need something good to candle with.

Here is another question for everyone, I am new to hatching (first batch in incubator now). In regards to the green and blue eggs, I have tried candling them and can see nothing, absolutely nothing in them, but if I take an egg out of the fridge that is the same color I can see through it with no problems, any idea of why?
That is a good thing--there is something inside those eggs! Here is another question for everyone, I am new to hatching (first batch in incubator now). I hope that means they might actually hatch. Just makes me nuts that I cannot tell for sure, especially after seeing a swimming baby in one of the brown eggs. TYThings start growing, the yolk gets darker pretty quick actually if there is a baby forming. Then, as the chick forms more, it really gets darker with the body mass in there.
I really hope so! TYThat is a good thing--there is something inside those eggs!
Glowing is bad, Darkness inside the egg is good!
