That's exactly what I was thinking..both snow/wet..either would do..look at that wet roo.

I haven't seen them chasing snow flakes, mine flock seems to not stray out of the coop if there is any precipitation in the air. they do play slip 'n' slide on the ice though, i need to get a video of it, they all slip in the same ten foot zone, it must be where they decide to put on "turbo running mode" and instead they end up on their butts or beaks.

My Golden R. catches them like a kid. Looked out my window one day last week when my DH had said it was raining a bit. When I looked out later, my Golden had her paws up on the fence, licking the snow. Then, she looked up, and started snapping at snow flakes. Where's the cam when you need it. Too cute. Looked like she caught a few too.

Good morning all! Spring is getting neerer here in NC with birds singing and flowers blooming!

Well heres how it turned out! Made with 5 jappie eggs! I ended up cutting the tops off to make 3 double layer cakes!

Brrrr. We're supposed to be 75 today. My fruit trees are in full bloom.

First, I just HAVE to ask chicken pickin what was with the orange balloons in the photo of the hens... I can't believe nobody else asked!

Second, a friend and I went to opening day at Daffodil Hill, just outside of Volcano (California).

Those are just a couple of blossom photos I took with my cell phone. We got there as the place opened, beautiful in the early morning light.
