That looks like an Ayam Cemani :drool
Do you sell hatching eggs?

I actually have some Ayam Cemani eggs in the incubator for the Hatch-a-long right now because nothing says Easter like an all black chick. It may be several years before you will be able to buy eggs from this breed. Those of us that have them are working to perfect the breed before selling eggs. You can buy chicks this year but the current market price for Ayam Cemani chicks is around $1100 per chicks, depending upon the line and breeder.

Yep we are.

I will let you know also on if there is any development in mine.

I just edited my post, I pulled my egg this evening, after discussing the possibilities, so candled it and I could only see one yolk, I cracked it open and it was not fertile. But, I still am interested in your experience.

One of my cats found the plug to our LG and thought it was a toy. Who knows where it is at now....tape is being use in place of it.

Make sure the tape is off at lockdown. The instructions for my Birnsea octagon says to open the vent at the end to make sure there is enough ventilation.

Just wanted to give everyone an update looks like I will be in Colorado for a while. My Foster Dad is very ill he had a blood order that they were treating that has sense turned into leukemia it was affecting his lungs and his blood marrow but they had gotten it under control but unfortuantly the treatment did not keep it out of his brain and he now has a lesion on his brain. We found all this out because he fell on tuesday he was not found right away when he fell right away and as a result aspirated and has pneumonia now. We are now waiting for the pneumonia to clear up so that he can be taken off the respirator after he is taken off the respirator we will then decide whether or not to start radiation on the lesion. This is a very stressful time I am not sure what the future holds all I can do is sit and wait and pray. On a different note the 100 eggs I locked down before I left on wed. are ow hatching my daughter is taking excellent care of them and so far there are 37 healthy chicks there were three chicks that were weak when I left from the previous hatch and unfortuantly they did pass away but I know that we can not save them all. TY for all you kind words, thoughts and prayers and I will keep you posted.

Prayers still going your way.

Candled and looks like maybe a third are duds - mostly the oldest and a few from the really cold days more recently. The old ones were pretty old though so no suprise. A bit over half the pre HAL eggs look to be going - but it includes Marans so extra hard to tell.

Took out a few of the duds until I had a single layer - 2 red rings, 3 that were clear and porous, and 2 fractured shells I had missed that were also clear. Thinned out a handful of clears of the worst color shelled clears to finish it out at a single row 9 eggs culled in all.

That is awsome!

I took the plug out to the vent hole on my Genesis and lost it.
What do other hatch a holics do? Do you use plugs?

I don't. I got my new bator today, and took the plug out right away.
