Did you calibrate the hygrometer? If so, at 80-90%, you should be seeing condensation on the window glass. You can open the lid to let out extra humidity.

It did have condensation, when i lifted the lid to let the humitidy go down a bit i wiped the windows dry real quick.
And yes I calibrated it, its only 2 off. at 75% it reads 73%

Of course. I watched the eclipse last night and I'm beat. Must go to bed soon. Maybe little emu will wait until the morning to hatch.

I have been staring at the eggs too much. I keep imaging I am hearing, or sensing, clicking. I also have imagined a couple of very faint chirps. Not persistent, but an occasional, questioning one that is over so quickly I can't even tell which egg. When I was moving them to put the liner down for lockdown, one egg seemed to give a jerk, or tap, as I was holding it.

Oh, I hope they hatch!

Take the whole lid off and let it come down, then put the lid back on.

Condensation is VERY bad.

I did the rice thing and it actually came down too far and had to put the wet sponge back in lol.
