The 5th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-a-long!

So I've finally converted (or would that be corrupted?) my husband. He is now a Byc member and has just purchased me a 3rd incubator. And ordered Cotton Patch Goose eggs. He is also going to convert our old side by side fridge into an incubator/hatcher. Oh, and we just ordered Cayuga ducklings.
Down side? Yeah. No enclosures. But we will get them. Soon. I hope.

That emu egg is beautiful. Love the jewel color.

I think from now on when people ask me my favorite color, I'll just say Emu Egg....Seriously!

Since it has taken me all day to catch up on the posts I lost my multi quotes, but here's a few I remember

To the person asking about the blind chicken. A few months back I passed on buying a pair of salmon Gabrielle because the roo was blind. I saw that same pair two weeks ago with new owner and no longer blind. Want to know what the problem was? Ear mites! That could explain the weight loss your seeing also.
