Well I have eggs in incubator finish hatching, some going to hatch next week, some in the Brinsea mini , my olive egger went broody and will have chicks hatch this week.( I think) and my blue copper went broody today.

I do not know. She is on about 5 all from today. How many can she have under her and hatch out. I have about 14 black copper / cuckoo maran I can stick under her. Or a bunch of RIR and a few HRIR I could?!?

If she has been broody before and did a good job, she should be able to handle more than 10.

Ok thanks! I will slip those out and put 10 Marans under her. It is her first time. She is really protective.
My olive egger girl had 5 under her. I candled them one night and took out 1 that was not developed. So 4 of them any day now.

I'm gonna try it! This will be my very first attempt with an "antique" incubator my son found in his basement. I'll be checking temps and reading everything I can between now and then. More babies please!!!!!
