Is all this damage from the ice and snow and storms something that happens every year or is this year different?

Parts of OH, PA & WV got hit much harder this year than they have in MANY years.

Yeah, he wants to build me one.  But we all know how long it's going to be until one actually gets built.  

Just go act like you are going to do it yourself. He'll feel guilty & come take over...lol

I had a young roo that flew into our dog area and promptly lost his head...we didn't know about it until one of the dogs brought in part of a wing...we have four Shih Tzu Poodle mixes...

I lost a pullet I hatched to my dog, she was one of my keepers. And I almost lost two more, but the first one We saved before the dog completely ripped her wing off and I bandaged her and gave her penicillin and kept her in the house until she healed. She can't fly, but she doesn't seem to care. the second was one of my EEs and she lost all her tail feathers before we caught the dog. Still hasn't grown them back, wondering if she ever will. They got out even with the netting, not really sure how. So I replaced the netting with chicken wire. No more escape artists here.

I think I've decided to buy another coop. I need something larger for growing out my meaties. After that, I can use it for juveniles, pairing up particular birds for breeding, separating anyone injured, excess roosters for the soup pot, etc. I don't have the time to build another one myself, so I'm gonna buy one.

Dang, I wish I had a big ole barn.

This year was H@!! on my runs. One is completely collapsed, the other partially, a gate is demolished, and all netting is trashed. It truly looks like a run down slum over here. I can't wait for spring, to tear out and rebuild.

Adding I know hortsman has them but he isnt NPIP
