Not yet, but it's brewing. Morning!

I'm getting ready to go see if my Call Duck laid an egg this morning ...

This is a seriously tough looking pair. I'd hate to run into them in a dark alley. lol
I'm so glad my coffee isn't ready yet. I'd have spit it all over my screen.

This is the most current picture of me. Messy hair from the gym, but this is me, playing with a just born doeling. I have a milk share, as I can't have goats right now.

Aaaaa, I just can't keep up trying to read all these new post, there coming in to fast lol, And that's with me reading logging into this thread 3 times a day! lol. And things haven't even gone into full swing! I can't imagine what it will be like when people start setting chicken eggs, I'll just give up then lolol.

Chooks you are really pretty! The goat is so cute too!

I think our guess of how many eggs are set may have to go up.
Uh-oh!
Last night my husband bought me another incubator-- it holds up to 42 eggs.
The original one just holds seven- on purpose I asked for a small one because I don't think I have enough land/shed space to have a hundred chickens.
Now I can't help but keep "window shopping" for fertile eggs of fancy breeds. I would die for some Cream Legbars, Isbars, or Faverolles. But there are other breeds that I really love too...- SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!!!

Good Morning Ya'll! So excited, I candled some of my eggs this morning and saw one move!

Just got my incubator and set eggs for the first time on March 2! So, out of 31 eggs I know at least one is doing good. Drives me crazy that I cannot see into my green and blue eggs (10 of those), guess I will have to get a better light. I think my heat was a little low, so hopefully the rest will develop.

Please let me know what kind of light you find to see into the green and blue's, I have several of them and olives in the incubator right now. I have used two different flashlights, one MAG and one LED, I have used a 100 w bulb in a bird house...(long story), but I still am not able to see in. But I keep trying...good luck on the rest of you eggs, I will be 4 days behind you.

I have also tried an LED, a huge Mag lite and a projector I have. I keep trying too. Hopefully we will figure it out. Good luck on your hatch too!

I'm feeling like this child should have some sort of musket laying across his lap...

Well now...you don't look at all like your Avatar. I wish my hair looked that good after leaving the gym...oh, wait, I don't go to the gym. LOVE the goatee!
