Just in time for the hatch-a-long! Coincidence? Thanks @Fred's Hens !

My eggs are supposed to be here today (Thursday) but it is 1am and the tracking still says:
Well, it looks like I am not going to make it

. The chickens I am waiting on to lay are not ready yet.

Would I still be able to join, even if I am a week later? Just for information etc?
You don't have to count me. I just may need some help.
Yes, you can still join the thread!

Might be a silly question

But what is Lemoncello?
It is an Italian Liqueur. They spell it Limoncello.

I spent yesterday and the day before boiling down maple sap. I have a few more gallons to boil down today. Starting tomorrow the weather is going to change and sap should start flowing daily. My fridge is going to be full of only eggs and syrup lol.
Oh yummy! All you have to do is make pancakes and you're set for breakfast!

Hello all.... I got yesterday my 25 fresh hybrid brown hatching eggs, there resting now till saturday. I plan to setup my RCOM 20 this evening and have it run till saturday morning and then set 20+ eggs.
Can I join?

Hopefully I have on easter 15+ brown chicks and 1 or 2 white ones....... altough the odds are the opposite!
Of course! Welcome!

Ok quick question for everyone with a brinsea spot check. I ordered one last week got it yesterday for the coolerbator I built and I think the darn thing is broken. I put it in my brinsea 20 to test it's accuracy before putting in the cooler and the darn thing just sits there with an L on it. I read this indicates the temp is out of range for it to read but I know the brinsea20 is working just fine because I just pulled the last of my last sets out of it and they are hatching normally. Any insite would be greatly appreciated since I am not comfortable loading the cooler without a good accurate thermometer. I currently have an accurite in it that is reading 99 but do not wanna risk the Easter hatch!
L means it's either too low for a reading, or too high. I would trust the Spot check over any other thermometer.

I also just got a spot check last weekend and am having trouble with it. It's reading 1 to 2 whole degrees different from my others! I went and bought a new battery and today a water wiggler is coming in the mail so I'm hoping I will get better readings this way. So frustrating since they are supposed to be SPOT on!

You can see, from left to right - 99.9, 100.3, 99.7 and then the spot check shows 102.4!! Ahhhhhh!!! I have tried moving it around in multiple locations within the incubator. Same thing happens. I also rotate my other thermometers too.
You will drive yourself bonkers with all those thermometers! Trust the spot check, the others are likely off.

Just got notification that my Salmon Faverolle eggs arrived at my post office!! YAY!!! Waiting for the call any minute... either way I'm going to stop by after I bring the kids to school.

I really really do not understand the postal service. My eggs are coming from Florida to Alabama...little over a 2 hour drive. But they went west of the seller to go north of me. So they left on Tuesday and hopefully get here tomorrow, that's 4 days.

Should have just gone and gotten them myself...grrrrr.
