Thanks Cynthia12- I called her that first (Dilute Calico)then saw pics somewhere that looked like the other color..Dilute Tortie. Whatever, she is so sweet, and belongs to someone who let her out and they didn't want to deal with her being prego- so our local shelter is responsible now for her and her babies, will spay her when she's done nursing them and get her caught up on her shots and then I guess they get her back. The kittens will be adopted out. bI'm out of all that- we just get to lover her and help her out...and her babies!

This is great! I used to foster and rescue dogs. It is so much fun to see and learn about the different breeds. Never had one that was expecting, but did have one that had just been fixed! I got to take the stitches out and get her well. She was a Beagle. That dog was busy!! Have fun with babies..remember..photos when she has them!

Check the air cells. and let them sit for a bit before you put them in the bator. You should be able to file an insurance claim on them. I believe all the ebay/paypal priority packages come with $50 of "free" insurance.

I will check the aircells tonight after work the box was not labled at well I am not sure if it is this sellers normal way of shipping or not if I do put in a claim will they want the eggs and box back or how does that work?

Ok, I ended up setting 49 eggs from our three backyard flocks. Here is a picture...

Got my quail eggs! Looks like I will be setting :

18 cortunix quail
17 Bantam Wellsummers
12 mixed barnyard with 6 blue eggs, 3 green eggs, and 3 brown eggs.

That leaves me with 7 slots in the cartons that I will just add some of my OE's to and get a firm test that after butt fluff cuts, my chickens are finally making the Love Connection.

This is a mini ice tray with silicon bulbs. I immediately saw a quail egg holder. Sara Sweatman you quail eggs got her perfectly!

I have a broody question. Do I need to separate her from the others and put her in a dog crate? Right now she is on her nest and I do not want to upset her or break her by moving her.
