good morning everyone. It is Dark 30 here trouble sleeping. Too excited about getting my new Barred rock roo. He was the last link I needed to get my breeding going on that breed. He should be able to be picked up this weekend. The weather is favorable and the hens are doing well.

We are on 5 acres and rural I have two other roos one RI with barred rock hens and one Dark Cornish with a Cornish hen and barred rocks. I am getting a Barred rock Roo right now. Then the last one I will get to go in the Maren pen will be a black or blue roo

LOL not me.Too much to do the chickens get up early and I like to be up and let them out of the coop. Waiting for my sex links to lay their first eggs

:) now you're just trying to make me jealous! I live in a small city where we can have 15 hens but "no Roos aloud" (said like peanuts no dogs aloud)!

Sorry you can't have a roo. I used to live in a mobile park where you could not have anything but a yip yip mini dog drove me nuts with all the barking. Now we live on 5 acres love it. Going to be getting French angora rabbits soon and a pig. No cows though cost too much to feed them. Out here in the desert there is no pasture. I do have plenty of goat head stickers the chickens like to eat.
