We aren't supposed to have a roo on two acers of land but, we do I have to, one that I would love to use for breeeding has a crocked chest and can't crow while the other has to go in a crate on a summer night

Have you tried the crow collars. I may or may not have a tiny bantam roo that we have a collar on and you can't here him at all when he crows. He can still eat, drink, and even make other chicken noises like bawking and screeching. I made mine and it works like a dream. My neighbors house is less than 5 ft from our coop and they never hear him.

The collar may be something for you to try then. I don't need one out here. I would be lost with my roos they are a matter of fact to my breeding. It does not matter who came first the chicken or the egg.It won't hatch without a roo

My dream life starts with being far enough out of the city I can have a rooster.

Okay, were can I get one?

Not sure on that. I would just type in rooster crow collar and see what comes up. It is daylight here now so out I go to tend to my feathered children have a great day. SQUISHHHESSS

GOOD MORNING!

On three acres, got can't even just have hens some places round here! :lau

Okay, were can I get one?

mypetchicken.com sell them, just google no crow collars to find other site that created them. They do work, but make we nervous that my rooster will choke. They don't work to well on bantys.

now you're just trying to make me jealous! I live in a small city where we can have 15 hens but "no Roos aloud" (said like peanuts no dogs aloud)!

I have several roosters that I need to get rid of but being that you are in Utah, I don't think they would enjoy the trip from Virginia to Utah.
