Ok I'm officially worried. I have 3 thermometers in my incubator. A calibrated meat thermometer, a acurite digital from walmart, and the built in thermometer. They all read 99-100.5 now my issue is I bought another thermometer with a probe that's supposed to be accurate within 1 degree... its reading 40.8 c! When I tried to calibrate it to see how it was reading the lowest it would go after 20 minutes in ice water in the fridge was 1.5c I'm hoping I just got a bad one and my incubator isn't cooking my eggs like it says. :/

I think you would know if your eggs are way to hot. Feel them, go with the Walmart thermometer for now. Get them where you like how they feel. Like a warmed baby bottle. Too many thermometers..makes me over worry. None of them are going to read exactly the same.

I think I just took a pic of the prettiest color of blue I have ever seen and it ain't my eyes! This is actually a failed St. Paddy's pic. This is also how I'm keeping myself from fiddling with the bator.

It hasn't rained here for 2 whole days!

It has been weeks (maybe months) since we have had 2 dry sunny days in a row. The humidity in the house went down from 48-60% to 28%. The humidity in my Brinsea went down from 31% to 27%. I have mainly CCL and Marans in it. I turned on the brand new, untested humidity pump and started out VERY SLOWLY based on @junibutt experience...and it has worked perfectly! For the time being it is set on 30%.
For CCL and Marans is 30-35% ok until lockdown? This group of eggs is a week ahead of the EHAL.

BTW, Is there still a wet chicken contest? How about mud wrestling rooster contest? I have entries!

I will set next weekend instead and just follow along. Can't wait to see everyone's hatches!

Sorry to hear you wont be able to hatch with the rest of us! But that little nanny kid looks like a pretty good consolation prize! My sheep were due yesterday, so I was crossing my fingers they would wait until after I set the eggs. Now I'm just impatiently waiting for lambs

Oh my goodness ! No way i could be disappointed looking at the smile on that babys face. LOVE IT
